The City Mouse and the Country Mouse

　　城市老鼠和農村老鼠

　　There are two mice. They are friends. One mouse lives in the country, and other lives in the city.

　　有兩只老鼠是朋友。一只老鼠住在農村，另外一只住在城市。

　　After several years the country mouse meets the city mouse. He says, Come and see me at my house in the country. So the city mouse goes. The city mouse says, The food is not good. Your house is not good, either. Why do You live in a hold in the field? Come and live in the city with me. You can live in a nice stone house there. You can eat nice food.

　　過了幾年之后，農村老鼠遇見了城市老鼠。他說：來看看我在鄉下的房子吧。于是城市老鼠就去了。城市老鼠說：東西不好吃，你的房子也不好。你為什么住在田野的地洞里呢?跟我到城里去住吧。在那兒你可以住 漂亮的石頭房子，吃很好的食物。

　　So the country mouse goes to the house of the city mouse. It is a very good house. The food is really nice, too. But when they are eating, they hear a great noise. They city mouse cries, Run! Run! The cat is coming!

　　因此，農村老鼠就去了城市老鼠的家。房子很好，食物也確實很可口。但是正在吃飯的時候，他們聽見很大的聲音。城市老鼠叫道：快跑!快跑!貓來了!

　　After some time they come out. The country mouse says, I do not like living in the city. I like living in my hole in the field. It is nicer to be poor and happy than to be rich and afraid.

　　過了一段時間他們出來了。農村老鼠說：我不喜歡 住在城市里，我喜歡住在我田野的洞里。貧窮而快樂比富有但擔驚受怕要好的多。
