Ⅰ. 這二個(gè)詞都有“忘記”的意思。但leave 表示“忘了帶……”; “把……落在某個(gè)地方了”，后面有地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)。

　　forget + 如：

　　① I left my handbag in the office.我把手提包落在辦公室了。

　　② We often see Mr. Gates standing outside his own house because he often leaves the key in the house.我們經(jīng)常看到蓋茨先生站在他自家門(mén)外，因?yàn)樗０谚€匙忘在家里。

　　③ I have never forgotten my family’s birthdays. 我從沒(méi)忘記過(guò)家人的生日。

　　Ⅱ. 還有“離開(kāi)、留下;使處于……狀態(tài); 聽(tīng)任”的意思。如：

　　① In 1933, Einstein and his family left Europe for USA. 1933年愛(ài)因斯坦和他的家人離開(kāi)歐洲去了美國(guó)。

　　② Jim left a message on the computer to you just now. 剛才吉姆在電腦上給你留言了。

　　③ They went into the café, leaving the car unlocked. 他們沒(méi)鎖車(chē)，走進(jìn)了咖啡廳。

　　：Never leave today’s work until tomorrow. 今天的事今天做。
